The goal of the Ashley Stewart Stores Community Foundation is to help women and children make major changes in their lives to thrive in our communities. As a company known for its support of those in need, Urban Brands Inc., parent company of Ashley Stewart Stores, believes in the philosophy that says, “To whom much is given, much is expected.” Our main objective is to support educational, empowerment, and health & wellness initiatives that raise the status of women and youth in the communities where we live and work.
Our partnerships and support of the National Council For Negro Women, Dress for Success, The Black Women for Black Girls Giving Circle, The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Black Retail Action Group (BRAG) and My Daughters Keeper, represent a few of the organizations that share our mission to empower women and our youth by providing health, wellness, and educational opportunities.
The Ashley Stewart Stores Community Foundation is honored to be a source to which individuals and organizations can turn to and count on to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Together with our vendors, business partners, employees and customers, we will be able to continue the work of The Foundation and support of important programs that make a positive difference in the communities where our customers and employees live and work.
I am excited about our mission and our work ahead as we move forward in building a foundation that will have lasting value in our communities for many years to come. |
